A low-impact ecotourism development located in Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo — designed under the highest standards of sustainability and ecological conservation.
Spanning more than 247 hectares, the project is based on an innovative system of stilt-type structures elevated on pillars placed only at pre-identified contact points with no existing vegetation. This approach allows for the full preservation of the natural ecosystem while maintaining the natural flow of air, water, and wildlife.
The architectural design promotes bioclimatic integration by incorporating vegetation that helps regulate interior temperature, while its light volumetry ensures visual transparency and respect for the surrounding environment. Recreational spaces are connected through elevated walkways that do not disrupt ecosystem functions, in full compliance with the Climate Change Law.
HZERO will be the first hotel in Mexico to fully comply with this law, achieving international certifications and representing an estimated investment of 260 million USD — setting a new precedent in regenerative tourism and conscious design in the region.
